The AM-C4000 is Epson's mid-range A3 colour MFP, and it's the one we install most often. It runs on PrecisionCore Heat-Free technology, which means there's no fuser to warm up. You press print and the first page lands in about 6 seconds. That's faster than most laser machines. It prints at 40 pages per minute in both colour and mono, handles duplex at the same speed, and the document feeder scans 120 images per minute double-sided. Paper capacity starts at 1,150 sheets and goes up to 5,150 with optional trays. Handles everything from A6 up to A3, on stock up to 300gsm. The running costs are measurably lower than laser. No fuser unit to replace, fewer moving parts, and the ink supply system means you're not constantly swapping cartridges.
